We will feature several nonprofits in the DFW area who specialize in financial literacy, health and wellness, education for children and adults, relationships with self and others
Good day! My name is Ashley T. Dirks M.Ed. CEO and Founder of Grind the Grit, LLC., where we advocate for a positive change through education and experience. The company Grind The Grit is seeking donations, and we'd like to ask if you'd consider giving. Grind The GRIT, LLC is organizing an event in observance of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month; which is in July of each year. Our organization’s mission is to “Help those who have a desire for change.” Our purpose is to educate the communities in which we interact by relaying information on social emotional learning (SEL). National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, is observed each July to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face in the United States. This observance is supported by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and is dedicated to addressing the stigma about mental health among racial and ethnic minority populations.
